CBRE / Trammell Crow is the world's largest commercial real estate services firm serving owners, investors and occupiers. Synchro-tech was commissioned to build a model of the spec building for marketing and leasing opportunities. In late 2011, Hess Tower sold for a record-breaking $442.5 million breaking both records for highest dollar amount and highest price per-square-foot paid for an office building in Houston.
The model base measures 4' x 8' which includes the parking garage. The lobbies are down-lit with recessed LED's, which are also used for vertical accent lighting on a front corner reveal and up-lighting on the wind turbines, motorized for the model. A custom-made light fixture using fluorescents was built for the core. Lobby, vertical, core-lighting and motor were switched separately.
